Sun or Hugo?

Today I got a Postcard from China. It had been travelling 50 days

              and the distance was more than 8000km!

              The sender says his name is Hugo, but when i look at his profile, there 

              he says that his name is Sun, so I am not sure if she is Sun or if he is 

              Hugo.

              Anyway, the card is nice and colorful and I like it very much.

 

The card has nice stamps and also a small picture showing a lighthouse.
I wish I could read  Chinese text!

Windows and balconies

This wonderful card I got from Margarida, who lives in Portugal,

near Lisbon.

She likes travelling, hiking, reading books and watching football.

She writes that the temperature today in Lisbon is 14°c, so it is much warmer there than in my country. Today we have 0°c!

The yellow door and the Nile crocodile

Two cards came again!

The first card came from Norway, Lofoten. The picture is from Greece, where Olga was on vacation. I have been hoping for cards with a picture of doors and this yellow door is exactly what i like!

The secon card came from India. The picture shows a Nile crocodile.

The Nile crocodile is 4-5 meters long and can live to be 50-60 years old.

Ps. Olen muuttanut tämän blogin englanninkieliseksi koska löysin valtavasti englanninkielisiä Postcrossing-bloggaajia joita rupesin seuraamaan, kun taas suomenkielisiä ei ole juuri ollenkaan. Englanninkieleni ei ole kovin hyvä ja joudun käyttämään kääntäjää joissakin kohdissa.

30 cards on the same day, but not for me (yet)

Simone from Germany send this lovely card with cats. She is just starting a new job and she has three cats at home.

I noticed that It is cheap to send a card from Germany, only 0,95€. When I send a card to Germany I pay 3,20€!

Another card also came from Germany from Ruth. She lives in a small town and loves walking in the forest.

I read on Facebook that a postcrosser received 30 cards on the same day!

Today I received my first black and white-card.

Edith who send this card has been working as a nurse over 40 years.

She is now retired.

Germany x 2

This card is from Olga who lives in Germany, but is from Ukraine. She lives in Duisburg. Duisburg is very similar to my hometown says Olga.

Today I got four postcards.  This one is from Azores, Portugal. Aurelio lives in a small island called Terceira. 

This card was send by Grace who lives in Los Angeles, California. In the card we can see golden poppies(the official flower of California). 

Brigitte from Belgium send this card. She likes cooking and baking. She lives in Leucen which is a university city. 

Georges from Bordeaux send this card. He is retired and he has worked on the railways. 

It has been raining and it is 10 degrees warm in France. I like to read what the weather has been like where the cards come from.
